Emancipation Stakes
The Emancipation Stakes is a Group 2 Australian Thoroughbred horse race, for fillies and mares aged three-years-old and upwards, over a distance of 1600 metres. Total prize money for the race is A$175,000.
It is held annually at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia and named in honour of the former champion mare Emancipation.
